SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION RUSSIAN DEFENSE INDUSTRY COMPLEX - NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE MEDICAL INDUSTRY
On July 1, 2016, a scientific and practical conference and exhibition Russian Defense Industry Complex - New Opportunities for the Medical Industry took place in Tula. The conference was attended by D. Rogozin, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government and Deputy Chairman of the Military-Industrial Commission; V. Skvortsova, Minister of Health of the Russian Federation;D. Manturov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation; A. Fisun, Head of the Main Military Medical Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense;M. Murashko, Head of the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare; A. Dyumin, Acting Governor of the Tula region and others. LLC "PAE "PROTON" presented DDU, a mobile disinfection and shower unit.
The DDU was chosen as an exhibit item because it currently is a vital element in various parts and units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. It is designed for conducting complete sanitary treatment or hygienic washing of large groups of people, which includes the injured and the sick (including patients on stretchers), who have been affected by natural disasters, emergencies, and technological disasters. It is also used for disinfection (and disinfestation) of clothing, uniforms, and bedding. During the development of the complex, specialists from LLC "PAE "PROTON" implemented a series of design innovations, including an automated control system for boiler and energy equipment, based on modern domestically produced components, as well as a mobile washing complex based on a pneumo-framed module. These innovations significantly improved operational characteristics, especially the productivity of sanitary treatment, enabling the processing of up to 360 stretcher patients per day. Due to the design innovations implemented in the DDU, its use in the medical services of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will expand the capabilities of the relevant units and facilitate the work of service personnel during sanitization and hygienic washing of people.
