ROUND TABLE PROMISING TECHNOLOGIES IN THE SANITARY AND EPIDEMIOLOGICAL WELFARE SYSTEM OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

As part of the scientific and business program of the International Exhibition Innovation Day of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation-2015 on 6 October, 2015, at Patriot, the Military-Patriotic Park of Culture and Rest of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Kubinka, Moscow region, a round table on Perspective Technologies in the Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare System of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation was held. The event was organized by the Main Department of Scientific Research and Technological Support for Advanced Technologies (Innovative Research) of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Main Military Medical Department of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, and the S.M. Kirov Military Medical Academy. The aim of the round table was to explore innovative technologies for creating means, complexes, and special equipment to address the challenges in ensuring the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the troops. The following topics were discussed: early diagnosis of infectious diseases, disinfectants and disinfection technologies, vaccine and emergency prevention of relevant infections, geoinformation and telemedicine technologies, and comprehensive provision of anti-epidemic equipment and other issues. The General Director of LLC "PAE "PROTON" delivered a report on the topic Innovative Technologies for the Production and Modernization of Disinfection-Shower and X-ray Diagnostic Units where the main directions for the modernization of the disinfection-shower complex DDU-01 and X-ray equipment used in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation were proposed. As a result of the round table, decisions were made by the Head of the Main Military Medical Department of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation to recognize the proposals of specialists regarding the necessity of modernizing means, equipment, and technologies for sanitization and disinfection, disinfection-shower equipment, disinfectants, as well as telemedicine technologies, and establishing effective cooperation with enterprises and organizations in the development and implementation of innovative means, equipment, technologies, and techniques in the field of ensuring the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the troops.
